Here's a healthy yet tasty twist to healthy food👉
INGREDIENTS
(4 servings)
Green Moong Dal - 1 bowl
Rice - 1 bowl
Spinach Leaves - 2 bowls
Onion - 1
Garlic - 3-4 cloves
Ghee - 3 tbsp
Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
Dried Red Chili - 1
Bay Leaf - 1/2
Red Chili Powder - 1 tsp
Coriander Powder - 2 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1 pinch
Salt - as per taste
Water - 3 glasses
METHOD
- Wash dal and rice.
- Blend spinach, onion and garlic to make smooth puree.
- Heat a cooker. Add ghee, cumin seeds, dried red chili and bay leaf.
- Pour the puree. Add red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and let it boil.
- Stir the mixture and add dal-rice. Pour water and add salt.
- Stir and cover with lid.
- After 3-4 whistles open the lid.
- Put the Lasooni Palak Khichdi in the serving bowl. Add a spoon of ghee and serve it hot.
