Healthy Veg Cheese Chili Momos

Hei Peeps..!

How are you all doing? 

Who are ready to have chapati subzi in a nepalese way...
Yeah, I am talking about MOMOS. 
So today I have made these healthy steamed Veg Cheese Chili Momos. Following  are the ingredients followed by the method:

INGREDIENTS (10-15 pieces)

For outer covering:

Wheat flour - 1 1/2 cup (300ml)
Salt - as per taste
Water - 1/2 cup (100ml)
Ghee/oil - 2 drops

For filling:

Grated cabbage - 1 cup (200ml)
Grated carrot - 1 cup (100ml)
Grated ginger - 1 tea spoon
Capsicum (tiny pieces) - 1 cup (100ml)
Red chili powder - 1/2 tea spoon
Black peeper powder - 1/2 tea spoon
Red chili sauce - 1 table spoon
Grated cheese - 3/4 cup(150ml)
Salt - as per taste

METHOD

For outer covering:
  1. In a bowl mix wheat flour and salt.
  2. Add little water to the mixture and blunge it properly.
  3. Now pour rest of the water and blunge the mixture properly till it is soft and make it into dough.
  4. Next knead the dough into ghee.
  5. Make it into a neat oval shaped and cover it in a muslin cloth till you make your filling. 
For filling:
In the same bowl mix all the ingredients mentioned above in the filling list except cheese.
Final part:
  1. Take the dough and make small balls out of it.
  2. Make small chapatis (~8cm in diameter). The circumference edge should be thiner than the middle part.
  3. Place 1 spoon of the filling in the centre of the circular dough; sprinkle cheese on it, then make pleats of the edges and pack it.
  4. Take idli pan and boil some water in it till you make all the momos.
  5. Now grease the idli mould with oil and place the momos on it.
  6. Place the mould in the pan not touching the water and cover it with lid for about 15 minutes. Check them if they have become sticky and soft.
  7. Your steamed momos are readyyy.
  8. Serve them hot with schezwan sauce. 

Who all would not like to have these healthy momos in their meals..!!
